Mrs. Desire Bell Phillips
died at her home west of Parkersburg Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the age of 87 years
7 months 18 days. She was the relict of George T. Phillips, who died at New
Richmond six years ago. Mrs. Phillips left three sons, living in Washington DC,
Rocky Ford, Colo and one at home. The funeral services were conducted at New
Richmond by Rev. Berry at 11:30 o’clock Thursday morning. Interment at the New
Richmond cemetery. Undertaker John Swank had charge of the funeral, going to
Parkersburg for the remains. - kbz
